A cluster of Martian "meteorites" or "pods" has landed during the night in a field in Wakefield (just south of Wake Forest, NC)

It's reported that thoughout the night, strange sounds of constuction and the turning of giant screws could be heard. All is quiet now. Is this a prelude to disaster?
